The sun was just beginning to rise on Hale Intitute when Myles Darking left the confining rooms of the hospital for his morning walk around the courtyards. He liked being out around this time, he found that people rarely came outside this early.

Taking his time, he watched as the plants and flowers swayed in the light summer breeze that passed through the courtyards. Sitting down under an old oak tree, Myles looked up to the sky and began thinking of his friends, past and present. There weren't many, but he continued thinking nonetheless. About how big a jerk he'd been to the old friends, and about how he hoped that he wouldn't make the same mistakes with his new friends here at Hale.

Emma had been wandering about with her headphones on and her music blasting when she saw Myles up ahead. She turned her music off and stuck her iPod in her pocket then walked very quietly up behind him... She then put her hands over his eyes from behind, "Guess who?" she asked jokingly, she was all laughter now. Em could hardly hold it back.

No way..." she laughed, Em loved her friends all so much. When she came to Hale, she'd found so many people she could just relate to. It was horrible that so many people were sick and whatnot but Emma was so happy to have gotten to meet people like Myles and Jackie.

He laughed again, admittedly feeling a bit better about himself knowing that Jackie liked him enough to talk to her friends about him. Even if her friend happened to be his as well. "Of course not! "Aww, thanks, don't tell Deirdre though and yeah, Jacks tells me all, it's pretty much to be expected bud." she smiled, she loved being friends with Myles and Jackie but this entire new, them being in love thing, she wasn't sure what to think fully yet. She'd just go about being best friends with them and hope they didn't act all mushy, lovey-dovey around her... That's when things get awkward, then she'd have to find more people around Hale to hang with. "So, how you lovin' this new Jacks emotion for you? I know she's pretty much happier than ever..." she commented lightly, she was happy to see her friends happy, it was good to see so many smiling faces around.

It was nearing two weeks since that night but to Myles it seemed like it just happened. "Yeah, it's an awsome feeling. So, how about you? Have you found someone special yet?"
