"Not at all. I'll start moving in tonight." He sat there staring at her for a moment, then looked down to the tiled floor. So many thoughts were running through his mind that he was having a hard time concentrating. 'Focus, man! For Heaven's sake, this is a serious moment and all you can do is stare at the floor?!' yelled his little voice, trying to help but only distracting him more.

"That was my first kiss..." She trailed off the rest of her words with the amazement of it, where she had gotten the courage to kiss him she didn't know. It was probably because she felt so deeply about him, and she let out a sigh knowing that she had probably done a pretty good job at embarrassing him. She knew that she had been too fast, but now she would just have to wait and see what he would say. Just sitting there made things even more akward for her, and she didn't say a word. Opening up her notebook so she could read her lyrics, not really able to write anything because of what had happened. 'Did I really do that?' Was that wondering thought in her head. Was this whole thing even real, or was she dreaming again?

Myles smiled at her words, though he was slightly surprised. He never would have thought that the intelligent and beautiful woman sitting in front of him had never kissed anyone -- or been kissed. He wished he could say the same thing about himself but, sadly, his first kiss had been to a girl who he ended up dating for a week, and that was in his freshman year. After a minute, he let his smile fade away. "I-I'm honored. Thank you," he said, so quietly that she could barely hear. It was true, to know that the woman he loved shared her first kiss with him was a big deal to him.

She nodded a little bit, knowing that it was different for someone to say that they had given their first kiss to them. Of course, it had taken a pretty stubborn girl ot never kiss anyone until the moment, but hse knew that it was worth all of the wiating that she had done by how it had felt. It had felt so great, and that few seconds had felt so passionate. "It's no problem. I saved everything for the person I love." She gazed at him, smiling, knowing that he would know what that meant, that she was a virgin as well. She was happy that she could give all these things to Myles, because it made it feel like that they were even on the score now.

The smile had returned to Myles' face as he heard what Jackie said. He did indeed know what they meant and was once again blown away by her words ansd actions. It's almost as if she can read my thoughts, he said to himself, thinking about how lucky he was to end up with her rather than one of the girls he'd dated in high school. In comparison, the other girls seemed too superficial, vain, and, for lack of a better word, easy. While Jackie was fun, smart, and had old-fashion morals, everything that Myles never knew he wanted in a woman. "I love you, Jackie," he said a few minutes later.

She kissed him again after he heard that he loved her, it lasted a little longer that time, knowing that everything would be fine. There was no one else out there for her, and she wasn't going to choose anyone else in the world. After the passionate kiss was over, she looked into his eyes, and said to him. "I love you too Myles." She wasn't the type to be easy, but she had already fallen, and that was going to make her want ot show her passion full force. She didn't care if he was a virgin or not, all that she wanted was a guy that was willing to take care of her when he needed to, and was willing ot let her take care of him sometimes. It was all about trust and caring about the other person, nothing more was to it.

Myles closed his eyes as she kissed him again. He wanted nothing more to sit there wit her all day and night just talking. When he was with Jackie he could relax and forget everything that was going on around them. He looked at her again when she said she loved him and he knew then that there couldn't be anyone in the world more right for him than she was.

She ended the kiss and just stared into his eyes. She wanted to know all that she needed to know about the man named Myles Darking. There was a need to be there for him that she could just not deny. A passion that burned inside her like a flame. This fame was the type that would never come out. Even the strongest winds could not take it out. "So, what do you want to do today?" Pausing the rather peaceful pause with her voice that shivered in the air with its sweet tone.

"Hmm. Well, I don't have to work until nine. So that leaves us-" He checked the clock hanging above the doorway on the other side of the room, "-about nine hours. And I've don't have anything planned." He looked back at Jackie and smiled. "You wanna play some basketball?"
