Midnight Snack (open)

Tabbitha walked along the empty streets of Ardwind island alone. It was late, probably around midnight, she guessed. She left her apartment at ten thirty and hadn't really considered going back, despite the late hour. Ardwind was safe enough where you could take late night strolls and not worry about running into odd people. Tabby liked that.

After a while, Tabbitha wandered into town and began passing various small businesses. Eventually she came to a restaurant and was surprised to find it still open. Silently she took a seat at a table near the back and ordered some coffee to start.

Melody had been wondering the streets in her PJs which consisted of white cotton gym pants and a polka dotted camisole. She was holding her blag backless clogs in her hand as she walked and humming to the lyrics she had written recentley.

Melody hadn't eaten anything all day. Her stomach growled its dissparoval and she grimaced slightly. Luckily as she walked she was delighted to see a resturant still open at this hour. Happily she ra towards it hoping to put her shoes on and then opened the door she walked in and closed it behind her. Taking a seat she asked a waiter for a glass of water and silently played with her fork. Hardly anybody was in the place and she thought she ntocied Tabbitha from school or something, but wasn't sure and couldn't recall her name or anything.

Tabbitha say Melody walk into the restaurant and was happy to see a familliar face, even if they weren't real friends, she figured it would be nice to have some company. With this in mind, Tabby picked up her coffee cup and walked over to where the younger girl was sitting. "Hello," she said, "I don't know if you remember me, I'm Tabbitha Danes. I'm a healer trainee."

Melody took a sip of water and then smiled at the girl. She cleared her throat and then said trying to hold back a ywan, "Hey, yeah I remeber you. I don't usually forget people." Melody chuckled lightly and then set her water glass down. Playing with her chipped nail polish she said, "I'm Melody Bryson. Most people call me Mel though. Nice to meet you again. There are a lot of people on the island, its amazing." Melody's eyes got pick as she thiought about the number of people on the island.
