Surprise Visit^_^ « Thread Started on Mar 2, 2007, 5:21pm »
Phoenix had known Tabby had lived in her new appartment for a little whiel so far but she'd never actually given her a house warmign gift or anything. She was sitting in the livign room of her own house earlier that day when she decided to surprise Tabs. She went out and got one of thos elame potted plants and a bouquet of Tabby's fav flowers and then got on her bike and headed over to Appartment 001. When she got there, she jumped off her bike catchign the plant and bouquet before it hit the grassy lawn outside and ran up to her friends doorstep where she started to ring the doorbell repeatedly until she heard movement inside...

Tabbitha had been watching tv in her living room for at least an hour when she started to fall asleep on the couch. Today was her day off and she'd been sleep deprived for the whole week. Her head fell against the back of the couch as her body slumped. And just as her snoring began, so did the doorbell.
Jumping from her seat, Tabby turned off the tv and rubbed her eyes as she made her was over to the door. "Alright, I'm coming, I'm coming," she mumbled. Opening the front door she was happy to see her old friend standing before her with a plant and flowers. "Phoenix! I'm so happy to see you. Please, come in," she said excitedly, stepping aside to allow Phoenix some room.

Pheo laughed seeing Tabby, "Why thank you darling." she said jokingly as she stepped inside. "Well, Tabbitha dear, I was just sitting about this afternoon and realized I hadn't house warmed you yet." she explained with a smile that was all jokes and laughter, "So, I went out, got you some flowers and a plant... thing and dropped by. I still haven't been able to identify what the plant actually is but it looked cool so I hope it goes with your new appartment." Phoenix said as she handed the bouquet to Tabby and then set the plant down, unsure wher eon earth Tabs might want it. "You see, it's not every day a gals friend moves into a new place... I mean, you moved in a while ago I suppose but where's the surprise in doign this right after you move in?" she laughed.

Tabby closed the door and laughed as she took the flowers. "Thank you. And I'm pretty sure anything will go with this place." She pointed to the white walls of her appartment. "I'd offer you a tour but there's not the much to see. Can I get you a drink?" She walked over to the open kitchen where she started putting the flowers in a vase.

Phoenix laughed at her comment, "Well, I'm not sure that white wall quite goes with your new plant but you're pretty unique, you can pull it off." she joked, "Oooo, a drink would be just lovely, how about water?" she asked politely as she looked about a bit, "Wow Tabs, it's pretty nice. I mean, some appartments are a little boring but your's is pretty cool." she smiled.

"Thanks. I still have some work to do, like getting some decent furniture. But all that can wait, for a little while at least. It's not like I have company over a lot." Tabby laughed as she made her way back to the main room with a tall glass of ice water for Phoenix. "Please, make yourself at home..." she motioned to her over-sized couches and arm chairs in the living room area.
